Marshfield High boys hockey coach Dan Connolly reached a milestone on Saturday night as the Rams topped Silver Lake, 4-1, at Hobomock Arena to present him with his 350th career victory.
“It’s a nice number,” said Connolly, who’s in his 24th season behind the bench. “It means I’ve coached a lot of great kids. We’ve had a lot of great kids come through this program. They’re the ones who have won the games. And the assistant coaches, too. All the (credit) goes to them.”
Marshfield (11-0-2) was sixth in the latest MIAA power rankings for Division 1 that came out Friday. The Rams’ only loss, 4-1 to Framingham on Dec. 27, was an endowment game that doesn’t count for MIAA seeding purposes.
