The Canton High boys won the Walter Brinn Division championship of the Ed Burns Classic in dramatic fashion on Sunday.
Eamon Kelly’s second goal of the game gave the Bulldogs the 4-3 win in overtime. Kelly was also named the MVP of the tournament. Canton, which started the season at 0-2-1, has won 15 games in a row.

Patrick Drury and A.J. Thomas scored the other goals. Reading tied the game with 27 seconds remaining.

BOYS HOCKEY
Winchester 5, Weymouth 0: The Wildcats dropped the game in the consolation round of the Ed Burns Classic.
GIRLS HOCKEY
Franklin 3, Mansfield/Oliver Ames/Foxboro 2: Maeve Anastasia and Kylie O’Keefe scored for MOAF in the loss.
Hingham 4, Sandwich 0: Caroline Doherty (2), Abbey Kennedy and Addy Garrity scored for the Harborwomen.
BOYS BASKETBALL
North Quincy 76, Natick 68: Sophomore captain Daithi Quinn scored a game 39 points (11 of 18 from the field, 16 of 19 from the free-throw line) in the loss for the Raiders (13-4). Junior Zach Taylor had 13 points and 7 rebounds.

Weymouth 51, Wellesley 49: Edric Iouissaint led the Wildcats with 10 points. Cam Nordstrom had 10 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer late.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Bishop Fenwick 62, Archbishop Williams 44: Elise Carter led the Bishops with 16 points while Ellie Jackson had 10.
Fontbonne 48, Cardinal Spellman 44: Junior Colleen Fogarty scored 23 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to lead the Ducks. Sophomore Lilly Blow added 10 points and 8 rebounds. Tressa Murphy chipped in with 6 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.
Carver 39, Cohasset 29: Ashleigh Johnson scored 16 points to lead the way as the Crusaders (10-7) clinched a tournament spot.
North Quincy 78, Brockton 48: Sophomore captains Orlagh Gormley (25 points) and Ava Bryan (20) starred for the Raiders (17-0). Sophomores Molly Tolland (10) and Jillian Jaenigh (13) also chipped in.
GYMNASTICS
Cranberry League Championships: Bridgewater-Raynham/West Bridgewater posted a season-high score of 145.75 to edge out Brockton (141.15) to win the Division 1 title. Junior Katie Russo won the all-around title with a score of 37.3. Freshman Cecilia Meoli was second with a career-high 36.45. Freshman Mia Witkus won the vault title (9.3) and senior captain Katie Rees took the beam crown. Mia Balsamo won the floor title.
Notre Dame Academy won the Div. 2 meet, tallying a team score of 136.8. Katie McCormack won the all-around and teammate Sophia Chavez was third. Lily DeGiacomo won the vault and beam titles. Emily Lembo was first on bars.
