Stephens scored seven and Lukas Ratliff and Bentley Hanson hit 3s in the first quarter to put New Lex up 17-11 through one, and the lead was 28-24 at the half, as Stephens had nine points in the second.
Ratliff sparked the Panthers in the third, hitting a pair of 3s during his 11-point stanza, as their lead was 46-34 through three quarters, while Stephens, who had four rebounds and four assists, made 7 of 8 free throws in the fourth to help seal it.
Ratliff added 14 points and six rebounds, Hanson scored nine with four boards, Ryan Hobbs had eight points and Isaac Dick chipped in six points, 6 of 6 at the line, with three rebounds and three assists in the win.
New Lex finished 23 of 43 from the field, 6 of 12 on 3s, and 25 of 32 at the line, while Coshocton was held to 16-of-52 shooting, including 6-of-24 behind the arc.
Bentley Cunningham led the Redskins (4-7, 2-7) with 12 points, Colton Conkle had 11 points, six steals and six rebounds and Antwone Johns added six points and nine boards.
Tri-Valley 74, Philo 36: Max Lyall drilled four 3s and scored all 16 of his points in the first half, as the host Scotties (9-4, 8-1) led 46-25 at the break in a rout of the Electrics (4-9, 4-5) in the MVL Big School Division contest.
Terrell Darden added 14 points, Jayden Walker scored 10, Erik Neal had nine points, Nohah Nichols chipped in eight counters with nine boards and four steals, and Aaron Frueh collected seven for Tri-Valley, which was up 28-8 through one quarter. Walker, Darden and Lyall also had three assists apiece.
Cade Searls tallied 20 points with four 3s, Cooper Radcliffe scored eight and Demetrius Strickland had six points for Philo.
Crooksville 41, Meadowbrook 23: Ryan Moore and Brody Thomas led a balanced effort with 10 points apiece, as the host Ceramics (2-10, 1-8) downed the Colts (0-9 MVL) in Small School action.
Trinton Cottrell had five of his seven points and Vaughn Childress hit a 3 in the first quarter to put Crooksville up 10-2 after one quarter, while four points in the second quarter by Thomas had the lead at 17-11 at the half.
Colton Delancey, who had a team-high nine points, hit a 3 in the third to help the Colts get within 23-21 entering the fourth.
Moore scored all 10 of his points in the fourth, while Thomas added four and Konlan McIntyre made all four of his free throws to help seal the win.
Girls Basketball
Tuscarawas Central Catholic 36, Rosecrans 32: Alaina Berry finished with 13 points, six rebounds and three steals, but the Bishops (8-7) were held to 13-of-43 shooting and committed 22 turnovers in a loss to the Saints on Thursday.
Berry had seven points in the first quarter, as the teams were tied at 7 after one quarter, but TCC took a 16-10 edge into the half.
Reese Triplett had seven of her 18 points and Maddie Ferrell collected five of her 10 points in the third, as the Saints led 30-21 entering the fourth.
Ella Lambert scored all 10 of her points in the second half, Jenna McLaughlin added seven points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three blocks and Emily Jenkins grabbed six boards for the Bishops.

Sheridan eighth grade girls (10–1) defeated Maysville (8-3), 45-19. Cadence Stephens led Sheridan with nine points. Avery Daniels led Maysville with seven. In the 7th grade, Sheridan (8-2) held on for 39-36 win against Maysville (8-3). Leaders for Sheridan was Lakelyn Haas with 15, while Kelsi Lee had 22 for Maysville.
