Ronald “Ed” Middaugh
Middaugh is a 1970 graduate of New Lexington High School, however, Middaugh and his wife chose to educate all three of their daughters in the Catholic Schools of Zanesville.
Beginning in 1992, he began his commitment to serving the Catholic Schools of Zanesville, first as a grade school, middle school and high school basketball coach. During that time, he also coached softball at RHS for nine seasons. In total, Ed coached in our system in some capacity for a total of 22 years.
After his coaching contributions, Middaugh continued his support of Bishop athletics in various ways, including, but not limited to, statistic keeper, time clock operator for basketball, football, soccer and volleyball and transporting the football equipment to away games, at his expense, for many years.
He has also been active in the boosters for many years and has sold and continues to sell half and half tickets at almost every Rosecrans event.
In recognition of his contributions, Middaugh received an award from the Ohio High School Athletic Association for his exemplary contributions and service to Rosecrans High School.
