We all want to meet people from history. The trouble is, everyone is dead! So it’s time to prepare yourselves for Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors live on stage!
From the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth, hear the legends (and the lies!) about the torturing Tudors at South Mill Arts in Bishop’s Stortford between Friday April 29 and Sunday May 1.
Find out the fate of Henry’s headless wives and his punch-up with the Pope. Meet Bloody Mary and see Ed fall dead in his bed. Survive the Spanish Armada as they launch their attack! It’s history with the nasty bits left in!
Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors is based on the international smash-hit and award-winning book series penned by author Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown.
The world’s best-selling history book series has been filling kids’ heads with foul facts, wicked wit and deadly drawings since 1993 while the Horrible Histories stage shows have toured around the UK since the first premiered in 2005.
The show is on at the South Road venue on Friday April 29 at 7pm, Saturday April 30 at 11.30am and 5pm and Sunday May 1 at 11.30am. It is suitable for ages 5+ and the running time is approximately an hour with no interval. See southmillarts.co.uk to book.
