Clinical psychologist and director of clinical operations at Georgetown University Counseling and Psychiatric Services, Dr. Suzanne Nortier Hollman, joins to discuss mental health amidst the pandemic. Dr. Hollman shares what some unique challenges are for young people during this time of uncertainty and what some of the potential long-term effects of isolation and missing out on milestones are. The clinical psychologist explains what signs of trouble parents and teachers should look out for and how they can help their youth. Seeing as many adults are also having a difficult time themselves, she shares how to recognize signs of trouble in ourselves.
